How can living labs contribute to creating affordable housing in urban areas? The platform “Building & Living” by acatech, in collaboration with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), presents a new mapping tool. An interactive map showcases living labs and selected innovative best practice examples.

A living lab serves as transdisciplinary research setting for the collaborative exploration of questions at the intersection of science and society. The mapping offers insights into ongoing and completed projects, stakeholder constellations and process design - so that users can benefit from knowledge and experience for their own projects. The webinar also explains the data behind the tool, how it can be used and what relevance it can have for the creation of affordable housing.
